In the 4 Cylinder Stock car class it was a battle for 18 laps as Mike Carpenter and Zach Ackley dueled for the lead. As they criss-crossed each other on both ends of the track. When on lap 18 Ackley’s car came to a stop in turn 4 with mechanical failure leaving the point to Carpenter. As Jerry Hixon put the pressure on the final two circuits at the finish it was Carpenter, Hixon, Rick Hodge, Jeremy Queen, and Zack Huffer rounding out the top 5 stops. Post race inspection found Hixon unable to pass thus disqualifying him, which moved Josh Atwood to 5th place.
In the 4 Cylinder Mini Late Models it was the Tom McVey show as he lead wire to wire in an impressive run. As Chip Truitt battled door to door at times with McVey but was unable to make the pass stick as Jim Ball ran at their heels. As the hard charger of the night Dan Ackley moved from 8th to 4th to challenge Ball with Todd Ervin moving from 7th to the 5th spot. At the finish it was McVey, Truitt, Ball, Ackley and Ervin place 5th.
In the 600cc Mini Sprints pole sitter Dan Lewis lead the field wire to wire as Chris Smalley made several charges to try and take the lead with rookie Sam Ashworth in an impressive run for 3rd. At the finish it was Lewis, Smalley, Ashworth, Darryl Mangus and Bob Owens.
In the Mod-Lite Dwarf car action pole sitter Dennis Lamphier and 2nd place starter Toby Boetcher battled the first few laps with Lamphier taking the point as Richie Armentrout and James Halfhill dueled for 3rd. By the half way point Armentrout was in control of 3rd and challenging Boetcher wheel to wheel for 2nd. At the finish it wasLamphier, Armentrout, Boetcher, Halfhill and Joey Dunseith capturing 5th place.
In the Sportsman Dwarf car race Ricky Roberts in the 8R was the man to beat, as he lead the entire 20 laps lapping all but 2nd & 3rd place cars. As second place Kevin Rittenhouse and Gary Griffith battled for 2nd with Josh Clifton and Dennis Griffith battling for 4th. At the finish it was Roberts, Rittenhouse, G. Griffith, Clifton, D. Griffith. At post race inspections of the 8R of Roberts was close to being completed
Robert’s car owner would not let the inspection process be completed. Therefore forfeiting and being disqualified moving the field up 1 spot and 5th place going to Gary Warner.
In the powder puff class sponsored by Snap On Tools it was Eleanor Mayo leading all the circuits to take the win over Tasha May who came in 2nd place with Brenda Rooker rounding out the top 3 spots.
